Fraser Community Center accepts bid for bathrooms

By Cathy Walker

The Fraser Community Center Board members held a meeting March 14 to look at the bids for the bathrooms they received. The Board accepted 4-Stems Constructionís bid.

Due to the funds that are available for this project, the Board voted to prioritize the list. First will be the installation of the septic and drain field and the water holding tank. This will be happening in June to allow for the ground to dry out.

The next step will be the indoor bathroom as funds allow. The last two will be the flooring in the kitchen and hallway and the kitchen countertops.

The new lights have already been installed in the building and it has made a big improvement.

The Board will be holding a Motherís Day Prime Rib dinner on Saturday, May 8, at the community center.  There will be three seating times: 4:15 p.m., 5:25 p.m. and 6:35 p.m.  The menu will consist of prime rib, baked potato, green beans, corn, salad and rolls and the desserts will be homemade by the ladies of the Fraser Community.

The tickets will be the same as last year.  They are adults $15, ages 6-12 $6, and five and under are free. You may purchase tickets from Linda Beard 435-4806, Donna Brown 435-4459, Marie Armitage 435-4695, Oreta Stuart 435-4477, Cathy Walker 435-4814, or Janet Kingen 435-4439.

We hope to see you at the Motherís Day Dinner and you can check out all the new updates to the building.
