Spring Round-Up fundraiser April 12

   This year will be the 8th annual Spring Round-Up hosted by the Clearwater Valley Chapter of the Idaho Outfitters & Guides Association (IOGA). The event promises to be an exciting and fun day for everyone beginning at 1 p.m. at the Orofino City Park on Saturday, April 12.

   In conjunction with the Spring Round-Up, Nightforce, a local manufacturer of the world’s finest riflescopes is sponsoring the 2nd annual Idaho State Championship Elk Calling Contest, which will begin at 3 p.m.

   There will be demos, live and silent auctions, raffles, games, contests and fun for the whole family throughout the day. Watch for a schedule of events to be announced.

   BBQ rib-eye steak dinner with Dutch Oven side dishes and desserts will start at 5 p.m. Beverages are included. Bring your appetite!

   Live bluegrass entertainment will be provided by the “Lonesome Pine Drifters.”

   Proceeds provide scholarships to the four area high schools. A new project called ICARE (Cancer Assistance & Recovery Effort) will receive 50 percent of the Spring Round-Up proceeds. People throughout the Clearwater Valley area will benefit from the ICARE project designed specifically to help people with miscellaneous expenses while undergoing treatment for cancer or other serious illnesses.
