After nearly 30 years with the Washington Water Power, Ruth Brown will be looking at new adventures in retirement.
Valley Aviation has new owners, but according to Gale Wilson of Hillcrest Aircraft Company it will continue. Ray Reel who has been with Valley Aviation for more than 25 years will continue to fly for the company.
Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Kenneth A. Roughton, son of Kenneth and Leslie Roughton, of Peck is currently on a six month deployment to the Arabian Gulf aboard the aircraft carrier USS George Washington.

Due to the closing last Thursday morning of corresponding banks in which reserve funds of the Bank of Orofino were on deposit, the local bank closed its doors in the afternoon in order to protect its depositors and prevent dissipation of its assets.
