Nearly 30 businesses, Colleges and Universities are scheduled to be in attendance during the Clearwater Career Fair Thursday, March 27 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Orofino City Park.
Sponsored by the Orofino Office of the Idaho Department of Labor, LCSC’s Advisory Board, The Nez Perce Tribe and the Orofino Kiwanis Club, the Career Fair will be exciting and highly interactive.
Participants will get to do things that employees in these industries do on a typical workday. Find out how a hairdresser or a fireman spends their day. What it is really like to be a D.J. at a local radio station, to be a masseuse, a banker or a member of the timber industry.
“We have some fabulous door prizes which will be given away to this year’s attendants at the Career Fair” said Monica Jones from the Idaho Department of Labor thanks to a donation from the Nez Perce Tribe. “We also have some new vendors scheduled to attend including ITT Technical Institute from Spokane and Headmasters from Lewiston.”
The Clearwater Career Fair is geared toward youth but we are encouraging out of school youth to attend as well; those folks who may have graduated in the last few years but have not decided on a career.
