Thinning and Pruning Field Day offered in Orofino
The University of Idaho Clearwater County Extension Office will offer a Thinning and Pruning Field Day on Friday, April 9.
This program will feature two-three hours indoors discussing basic concepts of thinning and pruning, followed by a hands-on field tour in the afternoon to learn about thinning, pruning, forest genetics, and chainsaw safety firsthand.
The class will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the University of Idaho Clearwater County Extension Office meeting room, 2200 Michigan Ave. in Orofino.
Pre-registration is recommended as the class size is limited. A $10 fee will be charged for refreshments and class materials. To register for the class, contact the U of I Clearwater County Extension office at (208) 476-4434.
