Orofino Elementary music programs to be presented March 18
The fourth and fifth graders of Orofino Elementary School will perform in their music programs on Thursday, March 18, at the elementary school gym. The fourth graders will perform at 6:15 p.m. and the fifth graders at 7 p.m.
The fourth graders are presenting a drama called “Pirates!” which tells a comical story about a stowaway on a pirate ship. The characters from this story include some very colorful pirates along with a singing king who is called the King of the high C’s. Add some prisoners and a chorus of no beards who all sing and dance and the story comes alive.
The fifth grade students are taking a journey through some of the popular music from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. There are many soloists from this collection of singers and everyone will be performing a dance to a song by a musical icon of the 80’s.
Parents and grandparents are especially invited to attend but anyone who needs a fun evening can also come out and see what is going on at Orofino Elementary School. There is no admission for any of these programs.
