CLEARWATER TRIBUNE HOME

Not everyone is young- please give us a chance
We cannot always predict what and when will happen to us. Sadly these two sweet dogs' owner passed away. Buster (right) and Satin have always been together. Losing their owner was devastating for them. Now all they have is each other. We are trying to do what their owner would have wanted. Find them someone with a big heart. They need to stay together. Having each other is all they can rely on now.
They have never been separated. Not all of us are young but we still have room in our hearts to love our animals. So goes it with these two older dogs. Imagine having your world turned upside down. One day the owner you trusted and loved is suddenly gone. These two don’t understand what happened.
They do know to stick together, because after all they know they have each other to help calm the confusion and sadness. Buster is 13 years old. He is a poodle/terrier X. Very spry and can jump with joy. Satin is a 12 year old Doxie. What they love most is having someone love and enjoy them.
Can someone find it in their heart to give these two very sweet seniors love and companionship? They will give their love to you. Age doesn’t mean they can’t feel sorrow. Can you give them joy? Please call 476-9823.
Our policy on strays
All stray dogs and cats are vaccinated upon arrival for their safety and the safety of the other dogs and cats. They are also neutered and spayed on the sixth (6) day. All costs are the responsibility of the owner claiming the dog. Strays are held for five (5) days and then are for adoption.
Dog and kitten food needed
Dog food is really needed-adult only.
**Please donate cat/kitten food.** We have 21 cats and kittens now. Dry kitten food, Purina kitten food is ok. Friskies canned food, ground only, is also greatly needed! Please help us help them.***
We are almost out of blankets. Please donate your clean used ones.
We really need canned and dry cat/kitten food and litter right now. We also need small ceramic bowls for the kitten and cat food. We also need covered litter pans.
We need towels to bathe our dogs and cats. Please don’t throw your old towels away—we will put them to good use.
***We need nylabones and tug toys for the dogs/puppies and toys for our cats/kittens right now.***
You can drop all donations of food, toys, blankets, etc. at Orofino Builders Supply. Steve and Leila Crockett continue to be animal lovers and great supporters.

Lost and found
Found on Gilbert Grade Monday March 1 at approximately mile marker 44; male, long haired black dog, medium size, has white on front paw, chest and chin. Very matted and full of burrs. No collar. Please call if you know who this sweet dog belongs to. Pictured.
Found Saturday Feb. 20 running in the middle of Hwy 12 in the area of CPTPA: Male Black Labrador Retriever, 4 months old, wearing a collar. NO PET ID. Pictured.
If you find a stray dog, please contain the dog or cat, if you feel it is safe to do so, and then call. Many times I get a call from someone that has a stray but by the time I get there the person calling says the dog ran off. Please contain in a yard or tie the dog until I get there. We want to keep these poor dogs safe and either find their owners or get them a wonderful lifetime home.
All stray dogs and cats are vaccinated and wormed upon arrival for their safety and the safety of the other dogs and cats. They are also neutered and spayed after a five (5) day waiting period. All costs are the responsibility of the owner claiming the dog or cat. Strays are held for five days and then are up for adoption.
If you recognize any of the above strays and know who the owner is, please call. We want to get these wonderful dogs and cats back to their homes. Call 476-9823.
