Orofino Junior Miss is this Saturday, March 1
Get ready for an evening that promises to be full of fun and entertainment, as ten girls take the stage for “Treasures of the High Seas,” this year’s theme for the Orofino Junior Miss Program. The program begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 1 at the Orofino High School. Admission is $5.
Pete Summerton will be this year’s emcee and have assistance from Shanna Herman, 2007 Orofino Junior Miss; Keela Sykes, 1st Runner-up; and Hanna Uhling, 2nd Runner-up.
Ten scholarships will be awarded that evening and the girl selected Orofino Junior Miss will represent Orofino at the Idaho Junior Miss program to be held in Coeur d’Alene this October.
The girl chosen Idaho Junior Miss will then travel to Mobile, AL to participate in the America’s Junior Miss Program, held in June of 2009.
