02-17-08

   Orofino Police Department (OPD) received request for ambulance on Hwy. 12. Female in distress.

   OPD received report of prowler on F St. Male subject standing in reporting party’s shed. Unfounded.

   OPD received report of traffic hazard on Michigan Ave. stop sign has been unscrewed and laid on sidewalk.

02-18-08

   Clearwater County Sheriffs Office (CCSO) made an arrest for DUI on Michigan Ave.

   CCSO received an animal complaint on Hwy. 11. Neighbor’s dogs are in reporting party’s yard again.

   CCSO received an animal report on Hwy. 12. Two moose in the park at Canoe Camp RV Park.

   CCSO received report of disorderly conduct on North Fork Dr. in Ahsahka. Neighbor yelling at reporting party.

   CCSO received report of malicious injury on Hwy. 12. The bathrooms at the RV park have been vandalized and they are trashed; reporting party said he is there often and that the bathrooms are usually in perfect condition.

   CCSO received request for public assistance on Arneson Rd. Person is stuck, and tow truck cannot reach them. Reporting party is going to walk out and meet a deputy for a ride into town. 

   OPD received report of assault on Michigan Ave. Possible threats and DUI.

   OPD received an animal complaint on 111th St. Barking dog; ongoing for four hours.

   OPD received report of curfew violation on 105th St. Numerous juveniles prowling around the neighborhood.

   OPD received report of petit theft on Michigan Ave. Gas pump broken and cash taken.

   OPD received report of lost band instruments; bus left cargo case open and believe they lost four or five instruments somewhere between Orofino and Lewiston.

   OPD received traffic complaint on Michigan Ave. A green Ford Explorer with a possibly intoxicated driver.

   CCSO received a report of cross country skis found on Three Bear Rd. in Cavendish.

   CCSO received a report of an unattended death on W. Pierce Ave. in Pierce. Unresponsive male in hot tub.

   OPD received report of a burglary at a residence on F St. Theft of a fishing pole.

   OPD received parking complaint on Michigan Ave.

   OPD received report of a dog escaped collar and believed to be running around near the residence on Michigan.

   CCSO received report of petit theft on Konkolville Rd.

   CCSO received an animal report of two labs found on Michigan Ave.

   CCSO received a traffic complaint on Timberline and Juniper drives in Pierce. Illegally parked vehicle.

   CCSO received a report of a narcotics violation in the arrest of a traffic violation on N. Main St. in Pierce.

   OPD received telephone complaint on 108th St. threatening email received.

   OPD received an animal report of shepherd meandering in road on Miles Ave.

   OPD received report of a bicycle found on Main St.

   OPD received an animal report of

Husky chasing cars on Indio Ave.

   OPD received request for public assistance on Shasta Circle. Possibly stranded motorist.

   CCSO received a report of arrest for DUI on Johnson Ave.

   CCSO received a request for ambulance on Hwy. 12. Unresponsive, 82 year old female.

   CCSO make an arrest for Driving without Privileges on Hwy. 12.

   CCSO received a traffic complaint on Hwy. 12. Reckless driver.

   CCSO received an animal report of a lost small red and white dog with one blue eye and one brown. Dog is microchipped.

   OPD received report of a hit and run on Michigan Ave. A blue U.S. Post Office mailbox has been hit by a vehicle.

   OPD received report of property found at the city park. Reporting party found a credit card and shirt.

   OPD received report of an accident on Hwy. 12. Vehicle in ditch, on two wheels.

   OPD received report of hit and run on Michigan Ave. Mailboxes were hit sometime last night.

   OPD received report of vehicle vs. deer on Elm St.

   OPD received an animal report of a lost dog on Dunlap Road. Brown, male dog is blind and goes by the name of “Chief.”

   OPD made an arrest for DUI on Brown Ave.

   CCSO made an arrest for DUI, contempt of court, resisting and obstructing an officer on Konkolville Rd.

   CCSO received an animal complaint on Harmony Heights. Raccoon is getting into things and bothering animals. Reporting party would like to have it trapped and removed.

   CCSO received a report of a tobacco violation on Michigan Ave.

   OPD received report of brown, long haired blind dog is running around the institution on Hospital Drive.

   OPD received report of disturbing the peace on Brown Ave. Downstairs neighbor is playing loud music.

   OPD received report of a tobacco violation on Main St. Reports of juveniles chewing tobacco.

   OPD received report of a curfew violation on Michigan Ave. Male subject with tobacco.

   CCSO received a report of suspicious circumstances on Musselshell Rd. in Weippe. Reporting party is having problems with subjects on his property.

   CCSO received a request for a welfare check on 115th St. Mother requests welfare check on 12 year old son.

   CCSO issued a citation for DWP on Hwy. 7.

   OPD received report of a runaway teen from College Ave. Reporting party’s 14 year old son is missing; left some time in the middle of the night; is on juvenile probation.

   OPD received request for assistance on Dunlap Road. Teacher found a case of beer in the trunk of one of the students’ cars, at OHS.

   OPD received an animal complaint on Grand Ave. Dog has been barking all day.

02-24-08

   CCSO received report of a prowler on N Main St. in Weippe. Two younger males attempting to gain entry to residence through back.

   CCSO received an animal report on Wells Bench Rd. Reporting party states that he has two cows that do not belong to him on his property. One is solid black and the other is reddish brown with a white face.

   CCSO received an animal report 129th St. Palomino horse loose and running around the Riverside Apts. area. No halter.

   CCSO received report of suspicious circumstances on Orofino Creek Rd. Reporting party states that there are two little girls, about ages four and six that are opening all of the mailboxes and going through paper boxes.

   CCSO received request for public assistance on North Fork Dr. in Ahsahka. Camper and car parked in handicap zone by the First Jerzy Barrier.

   CCSO received request from Juvenile Court Services for a welfare check on Eureka Ridge Rd. Student failed to go to school.
