Grimaldo wins District #171 Spelling Bee
The District #171 Spelling Bee was held at Orofino Elementary School Feb. 7. This year‘s district winner is Anna Grimaldo. She will participate in the regional spelling bee at Lewis-Clark State College on March 8.
Students from Timberline Schools, Orofino Junior High, Orofino Elementary and Peck Elementary participated.
The pronouncer for the
evening was the Honorable Judge Randy Robinson. Judges for the evening were
Jeanette Gorman, Jo Moore and Earl Lawrence. All of the students did an
admirable job of spelling.
