Clearwater Human Needs Council to meet Feb. 19
Clearwater Human Needs Council will meet at noon Tuesday, Feb. 19, at the Krystal Café with Carisa Fore, NiCASA Parent Project, as speaker.
The NICASA Parent Project was adapted by the Clearwater Substance Abuse Workgroup (CSAW) as a prevention strategy for the county and its youth.
Volunteers are trained and conduct sessions for parents to help them learn skills in teaching and caring for various ages of children. The 2008 goals of CHNC will also be discussed.
