Free bus rides to Bald Mountain Ski Hill
The Clearwater Ski Club and its members want to remind all skiers that a free bus to Bald Mountain Ski Hill leaves the Orofino IGA parking lot every Saturday, Sunday and holiday at 8 a.m. and returns at around 4:30 p.m.
The snow level and conditions this season are very good; lift lines are not an issue; and friendly faces are a given. Bald Mountain Ski Hill is operated by local families for local families. Save on gas money and catch a ride on the free ski bus this weekend.
Bald Mountain is located just 10 miles from Pierce. From Orofino, take Michigan Avenue straight through to Grangemont 28 miles to the Ski Hill. From Greer along Hwy 12, take State Hwy 11 (the Gold Rush Historic Byway) through Pierce to the Ski Hill.
