Celebrating 150 Years: 1860-2010 "Gilded Past - Golden Future"

   Pierce is celebrating its Sesquicentennial during 2010 with a special event each month to include a speaker relating history of the community. The March event is a period costume pie social and speaker at Pierce Community Center. In April there will be Courthouse Mock Trials with Timberline Students at the Pierce Courthouse.

   May’s event is a Women's Tea and Speaker Mary Todd Lincoln. July brings the 4th of July Community Picnic and speaker at the Pierce Play Park and in August is the 1860 Days celebration. September the event is Capitol for a Day. Check the newspaper for further events as planning unfolds.
