The Community Center schedule for upcoming activities includes:
Friday, Feb. 1 skating from 6 to 8, fourth grade, FREE.
Monday, Feb. 4, Judo 5:30, Elementary School art class. This week they will be learning how to set up and draw a still life.
Wednesday, Feb. 6, Weight Watchers 5:30, Judo 5:30 and the GEM meeting is at 7 p.m.
Friday, Feb 8, 9 a.m. Quilt Club.
Judo Club
Four members of the Judo Club attended the Ore-Ida tournament in Ontario, OR Saturday, Jan. 26. They were Charlie Billups, Jonathan Syed, Bryon Vessey and Jason Umphenour. They all did very well. Jonathan placed third in his Division.
The club is still selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts. The proceeds from the doughnut sales enable the kids to attend tournaments. Orders will be taken until Feb. 4 and delivered on Feb. 11. Call 464-2443 for more information.
AAU Tournament
The AAU Basketball Tournament will be held Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and evening, Feb. 8 and 9. Games will alternate between Pierce Community Center and Timberline High School.
Winter Carnival
Don’t think there will be any problem having enough snow for snow sculptures this year during the winter carnival. Still time to enter the contest. Call Linda at 464-2663 or Leslie at 464-1023 to sign up.
