   Have an extra microwave? Timberline School needs two microwaves—for the Staff room and   Home Ec room. It is hoped these would be in good/used condition. If anyone would like to donate one to the school, please call Pat Rayner, Secretary, 435-4411 or drop off the microwave at THS office. 

   A free Clearwater Noxious Week Clinic is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 17, National Guard Armory, Orofino. Class will start at 8:15 - end at 4:30 p.m. This class includes: Identifying plants from their characteristics, herbicides to control noxious weeds, poisonous plants in North Idaho, how to calibrate backpack and ATV sprayers, Bio control of certain noxious weeds, re-vegetation and more. To register, call Mike Beard at 435-4806 or beardfarm@orofino-id.com. This class is hosted by the Clearwater Basin Cooperative Weed Management Area.

   Senior Center lunch for Thursday, Jan. 28 will be beef stew, salad and roll with cake for dessert. There is always a great homemade soup available along with coffee, tea, and milk.

   As there is a decided lack of snow the Where’s Weippe Ski Retreat, May 5-7, participants will be taking part in the Pierce Winter Festival.  Watch for them in the Ice Man Relay.

   Dolores reports five tables for pinochle at the Lodge on Sunday. Bob Blanke won high, Pete Kingen got low and Bob Blanke and Dolores won pinochle. Dolores is on a roll, she has won pinochle the last three weeks.
