School Board meets Jan. 25
The Jt. School District 171 School Board will hold their monthly meeting January 25, at 7 p.m., at Peck Elementary School.
The agenda includes new hire: Valerie Bansemer, OHS Food Server, as well as resignations from Abby Heiren, OHS Teacher (effective school year end) and Tia Pollick, OES Instructional Aide.
Reports and recognition
January enrollment; project BRAIN Grant (Denise Pomponio); holdback for the current school year – projected funding for the 1010/11 school year; and building and program reports will be given.
Action items
A first reading for policy items 5340 evaluation of certificated personnel; 5340P evaluation of certificated personnel, and 5340P1-20 evaluation forms.
Other items for discussion include: the superintendent’s contract; public relations/grant writer position; enrollment minimums for Peck and Cavendish schools, and the organizational facility plan.
