TWO INJURED IN WRECK-Two women were taken by ambulance to the hospital following this collision around 1 p. m. Friday, Jan. 8 on eastbound US Hwy 12 by King’s and Harvest Foods.
Two hurt in two vehicle wreck by King’s on Hwy 12
Zella Cantrell, 66 of Orofino and Ilene Lawrence, 23 of Lewiston were transported by ambulance to Clearwater Valley Hospital and St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston following a two car collision around 1 p. m. Friday on Hwy 12 by King’s.

Tuesday Cantrell has been released from the hospital and is home and able to go
to the family business Atkinson Distributing Inc.
Lawrence was reported Friday as being in satisfactory condition at a Spokane hospital.
According to the Idaho State Police (ISP) report Cantrell was eastbound in a 2008 Jeep Liberty and Lawrence was west bound in a 1992 Acura Integra and attempted to turn into a parking lot and unsafely cut off Cantrell. Cantrell’s vehicle impacted the passenger side of Lawrence’s vehicle.
Road conditions were clear and dry according to the ISP report.
Lawrence was later transported from St. Joe’s to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. Investigating officer was ISP Trooper Gilbertson assisted by Sgt. Kevin Rouse, Clearwater County deputies and the Orofino ambulance.
