Peck Elementary new student registration

By Jessica Case, new Peck Elementary teacher

My name is Jessica Case, and I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new teacher at Peck Elementary. I am very excited for the opportunity to get to work with your child this year.

On Tuesday, Aug. 27, there will be a registration from 8:30 to 11 a.m. for students who plan on attending Peck Elementary this coming year. Students already registered for school are not required to come to registration, but I would love to meet you and your child; plus there is some additional information that will need to be added to your child's registration on the first day of school.

Thank you, and I look forward to working with you and your child this coming year.

Parents should register for a 15 minute appointment with their child’s kindergarten teacher by calling the OES office at 476-4212 beginning Aug. 14 and continuing through Aug. 29.

Appointments will be scheduled for: Tuesday, Sept. 3 from 8 to 11:45 a.m.

The first full day of kindergarten will be Wednesday, Sept. 4. A letter will be sent to each student and their parent(s) regarding alternative appointment instructions and other details. Please bring supplies (preferably unlabeled) if you have them.

It is critical that you and your child attend this appointment as it will allow the teacher get to know your child one-on-one. It will help teachers, parents and students begin this memorable year on the right foot.
